During this relaxed two-hour session you’ll create an Autumnal Wreath Print, inspired by the beautiful floral style of Kate from Kate Illustrate. You will have the chance to play with a variety of products from our sponsor for this Meet Up, Manuscript.
These aren’t taught workshops, so they’re best suited to folks who already have a feel for calligraphy. Whether you love a pointed pen or prefer brush lettering, you’ll have the freedom to explore and create in your own style.

Who’s it for?
This meet-up is ideal for anyone with some calligraphy experience, maybe you’ve taken a beginner workshop or already enjoy using a brush or dip pen. It’s not suitable for complete beginners who haven’t yet learnt the basic strokes. Whether you’re a seasoned hobbyist or a small business owner looking to meet creative peers, you’ll find good company and plenty of inspiration.

Each event around the UK follows the same relaxed format, but projects may vary slightly from venue to venue - perfect if you're planning to attend more than one!
We’ll keep things informal and welcoming, come as you are, chat as much or as little as you like, and enjoy being surrounded by people who get your love of lettering.

There may be a guest calligrapher joining me at some of the meet ups.

Cancellations
Life happens! You can cancel or transfer your ticket up to 7 days before the event for a full refund. After that, we’ll do our best to fill your spot and accommodate changes where possible, just drop us a message. So grab a ticket, bring your love for letters, and join us for an evening of ink, inspiration, and maybe a few new creative pals too. We can’t wait to see you!

Totally understand! The vibe is relaxed and welcoming. You’re free to chat as much or as little as you like. There will be a creative project, so you will have something to focus on if you are a little nervous. Some people come to make friends, others just want a peaceful space to create around other people who "get it”.

It’s a small group event, no more than 20 people, so there’s space to connect without it feeling overwhelming.

Food and drink are not included in the ticket. However, the venue offers range of food and drink, which cater to a variety of dietary requirements, which you can easily order food and drink direct to the table using a QR code.
